Speaker Chris Briem, regional economist with the University of Pittsburgh's University Center for Urban Research, will discuss current day statistics, trends and a forecast for Pittsburgh's economic future. Briem also will explain how economists gather and interpret economic data for a region and how the economics of the past have shaped Pittsburgh's future.
