Join us on Thursday, April 17 at 7:00 p.m. at the Heritage and Cultural Center for a presentation on the Pittsburgh region and its gardens.
Industrial Western PA of the late 19th and early 20th centuries hardly seems the place to showcase American gardening history, but flora flourished here. From Old Economy Village to expansive East End estates, and scores of small flower and vegetable patches in between, join local author and "Historical Dilettante" Sue Morris in a celebration of floral history.
This event is part of the HCC's Third Thursday lecture series.
The program is free, but registration is required. Register online via CivicRec (the event is located under the HCC Lecture Series tab).
